Privacy policy

This policy describes the site as it stands today. It is updated whenever anything changes — in particular once there is a newsletter.

In short

Investir com Siso uses no cookies, carries no advertising, has no social media buttons and does not track its readers. No consent banner is needed because there is nothing to consent to.

Data controller

Ricardo Alves, the author of and the person responsible for this site. For any question relating to personal data, the contact is on the About page.

What data is collected

When you visit the site

No personal data is collected directly by the site. There are no cookies and no identifiers stored on your device.

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. As with any hosting on the Internet, Cloudflare technically processes the request — which includes the IP address — in order to be able to deliver the page and to protect the service against attacks. Cloudflare has infrastructure in the European Union and standard contractual clauses for any transfers that take place outside it. Legal basis: legitimate interest in the operation and security of the site (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR).

Visit statistics

The site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which measures visits without cookies and without identifying the visitor. The data is aggregated: most-read pages, source of traffic, type of device. It is not possible to reconstruct the path of any one person, and no consent banner is needed because nothing is stored on your device. Legal basis: legitimate interest in assessing and improving the content of the site (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR).

Newsletter

There is not one yet. When there is, this section will state the service used, the data collected, the retention period and how to unsubscribe. Subscription will always be by explicit consent, with confirmation by email, and unsubscribing will be available in one click in every message.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to access your data, to correct it, to erase it, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. Just ask, using the contact given on the About page.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD), the supervisory authority in Portugal.
